Adoption Event at COSI this weekend

Columbus is home to many, many adoptive families.  Is yours one of them?

If your family has been touched by adoption, or if you’re interested in learning more about adoption, then you won’t want to miss Columbus’ “adoption expo” at COSI this Saturday, June 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Hosted by the National Center for Adoption Law and Policy, along with Leadership Columbus, the “Forever Home Adoption Celebration” expo will serve as a platform for Columbus’ adoptive family community to raise awareness and share success stories, as well as share adoption information and resources.

The event is family-friendly and will feature fun activities for kids such as science experiments, magic shows and other live entertainment.  All of COSI’s exhibits will be open to participating families.  Snacks and refreshments will be provided, and there will be prizes awarded, raffles, and giveaways throughout the afternoon as well.  Tickets will be $5 for adults and children over three years old; children two and under are free.  For more information, please visit www.law.capital.edu/adoption/forever_home/.
