Another Award for the Worthington Libraries

The Worthington Public Libraries have won another prestigious award. After winning Library of the Year in 2007, the library was awarded the John Cotton Dana Award.
This award is considered the most prestigious award of all library awards in the field of public relations The library won for their "Find Yourself Here" rebranding campaign. This campaign was a unique, informative way to position the library as an information source and fun destination. The library wanted to stress to it's patrons that everyone belongs and is accepted at the library.
The award has been given out annually since 1946 by the American Library Association. This year there were 5 winners all who will received $5,000 in prize money.
Chuck Gibson, Library Director, along with the Director of Community Engagement, Lisa Fuller, have stated that they are "so proud of their department and all the hard work that went in to the rebranding campaign."
