Real Estate Investors are Buying Central Ohio Property!

The best indicators of any local real estate market are investors. Investors are usually savvy business people who wait for the "perfect time" to purchase real estate -- either to rehab properties and sell them or to purchase rental units or condominiums to rent out and eventually sell at a profit.
The average real estate consumer, on the other hand, is not able to invest in real estate to sell. The consumer simply wants to own his first home, purchase a larger home or find a home more suitable to his needs. While the average buyer is (or should not be) excessively focused on making a profit on his primary residence, he does not want to lose money on the purchase either.
The good news is that local real estate investor activity in Central Ohio is active and growing!!! We are seeing a marked increase in real estate investors purchasing property. This indicates that area prices have hit bottom and will be on the rise. For a person who wishes to purchase their own residence, this is an excellent time to purchase for these reasons:
- The prices in Central Ohio have hit "bottom".
- The interest rates are incredibly low.
- The number of homes available is high, including foreclosure and short sale opportunities along with fixer uppers. Some high end homes are selling for as much as 30-40% lower than they were 3-4 years ago!
