When supply exceeds demand, the housing market becomes a BUYERS market and that's where we are now!

The current level of supply for most areas within Columbus exceeds six months, which mean that for most homes currently on the market it will take  at least six months for the home to sell. At the same time, the market has been flooded with foreclosures and short sales, so there is a lot of competition for the buyers that are out there. 

What does that mean for buyers?  It means lots of choices, lots of negotiating power and that smart sellers are strongly competing for the buyers business, both in terms of the price and the conditon of their homes.  Therefore, NOW is a great time to buy a home!!
