DUBLIN
A fast-growing area occupying more than 23 square miles on the banks of the Scioto River, Dublin is located on the northwest corner of Franklin County and is about 25 minutes from downtown Columbus.
Dublin offers a wide variety of scenarios -- a historic old village with quaint shops and restaurants, an abundant supply of apartments and condominiums and a number of brand new luxury housing developments. One of the best-known planned communities in Dublin is Muirfield Village, which was designed and developed by columbus native, Jack Nicklaus. Built around two country clubs, Muirfield is the site of the annual Memorial tournament on the PGA Tour, which attracts thousands of visitors each year. In addition to the country clubs, there are two pools for residents' use and extensive bike paths throughout Muirfield and the entire city of Dublin.
Homes in the Dublin area are priced from under $200,000 to those in the multi-million dollar range, including a variety of single family dwellings, condominiums and patio or cluster homes.
Dublin's ever-expanding school system enjoys an excellent reputation. It encompasses 11 elementary schools, 4 missle schools and 3 high schools, including the brand new Dublin Jerome High School. The city offers a state-of-the-art recreation center, which includes 2 indoor pools, a gym, track weight room and classrooms for art and other programs.
Dublin's thriving business environment includes the corporate headquarters for Wendy's International, Cardinal Health, Stanley Steemer and the brand new Columbus Methodist Hospital, which is part of the Ohio Health family.
